Patterns - Where Your Ideas Come To Life

At Lido, like most other workrooms around the world, all your ideas start their life as a pattern. We hold patterns for all sorts of garments and accessories. The pattern is made of cardboard and the purpose of the pattern is to show the cutter the outlines of the individual pieces of fabric which need to be cut in order to make the garment or accessory. It usually allows for the seam and for the various different fabrication methods which are employed when making your garment. In the background here are some examples of vest patterns, cravatte patterns, tie patterns, cumerband patterns and much more. We have literally hundreds of patterns on file and we spend a lot of our time developing patterns with our core customers who range from corporate uniform designers to high fashion designers looking to create silk accessories for their individual brands.
